'Naturalia' (1990) - Art Edition by Luca Leonelli

Naturalia

This work describes a traumatic event through the metaphor of a tempest on a small cultivated field.  The action takes place over sixty seconds.

Colophon

This collection of engravings uses etching, drypoint and soft wax techniques, and has been printed on 75.5 by 56.5 cm Moulin du Gue paper from Arches in an edition of fifty copies: Ten copies (numbered in Roman numerals from I/X to X/X) that are not commercially available, and forty copies numbered with Arabic numbers from 1/40 to 40/40.

The engravings have been pulled on a 19th century hand press in the care of Roberto Gatti, printer in Modena (Italy), in the months of February, March and April 1990.
